Hi there - I’m Sarah.

I'm a certified breathwork practitioner, Charleston local, wife, and mama to a snuggly 7-month-old. I’m deeply passionate about supporting fellow moms in soothing their nervous systems and gently shifting generational patterns - so they can feel more grounded, connected, and at ease in daily life. When I’m not guiding breathwork or spending time with my family, you’ll find me strolling the Sea Island farmers market, flowing through a slow yoga class, or curled up on my porch swing with a London Fog and a good book.

I’m so glad you’re here.

My Journey to Motherhood

For as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to be a mom. But I also knew I didn’t want to just wing it. Parenthood is one of the biggest transitions we’ll ever face, and I wanted to be ready. It always struck me that we spend years in school preparing for careers, yet no one teaches us how to prepare for raising children.

Part of this desire came from my own childhood. It was filled with love, but also with conflict, addiction, and emotional chaos. Later I realized that many of these struggles had been passed down for generations. That understanding helped me see my parents with more compassion and it lit a fire in me to break those cycles.

In my twenties, I became deeply committed to healing. I explored therapy, mind-body practices, and nervous system work. I built a life that felt grounded and intentional. When I met my husband and we decided to start a family, I poured myself into preparing. I focused on nourishing my body, clearing toxins from our home, and doing the personal work to show up for each other and for our future child.

What I discovered is that all of this knowledge is scattered. Pieces of fertility, nervous system regulation, and generational healing lived in different corners of the wellness world. I wanted it all in one place. And when we conceived and stepped into parenthood, I realized just how valuable this preparation had been.

Today, raising our son in a high-nurture home is my greatest joy. As a certified breathwork practitioner with training in somatic therapies and nervous system regulation, I share what I’ve learned with families who want to enter parenthood feeling prepared, supported, and confident. The Nurture Latte was inspired by my morning ritual, a warm latte in hand with my baby resting on my chest, a daily reminder that true care begins with presence.

My Approach & Credentials

I believe the most powerful lessons come from lived experience. The methods I share are the same ones I used to conceive and prepare for pregnancy, regulate my nervous system after a difficult upbringing, and step into parenthood with intention and calm.

My background combines both personal and professional experience. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from UMass Amherst, am certified in Breathwork and Meditation through Loki Yoga International, and completed training in Somatic EMDR with The Embody Lab. I’ve also studied with Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum in Raising Resilience and am continuing my work with her in Becoming the Nurtured Mother.

Beyond certifications, my journey includes more than 15 years of traditional therapy, several years of EMDR and Internal Family Systems work, ongoing somatic coaching and feminine embodiment training, and a decade of breathwork, yoga, and meditation practice.

This combination of education and lived experience allows me to meet parents with both empathy and practical, research-backed tools. I don’t just teach these practices. I live them every day.

I’d love to hear from you.
